Introduction

Welcome to my website. My name is Eduardo Silva, and this is a short introduction to what this space is about—and why it exists.

By training, I’m an electronics and automation engineer. I also completed about 60% of an MBA in finance before leaving to pursue a business that, at the time, seemed like the right move but ultimately wasn’t. For many years, my professional life revolved around troubleshooting complex systems—manufacturing control systems, automation, and electrical systems in large-scale environments, including mass transportation.

That background matters, not because this website is about engineering, but because it shaped how I think. As a troubleshooter, I learned to look for evidence, not guesses. While others relied on assumptions or past experiences that “felt similar,” I relied on schematics, manuals, measurements, and data. That approach made me effective—and it became a way of life.

Over time, I began applying that same mindset beyond engineering. One of the areas where this became most significant was my study of the Bible. I became deeply interested in understanding it the way Moses, the prophets, Yeshua, and the apostles understood it, lived it, and taught it.

After more than 20 years within Christianity, I was challenged to reconsider how Scripture is commonly interpreted—especially the way the New Testament is often separated from, or elevated above, the Old Testament. On January 1st, 2020, I made a personal commitment before God to seriously investigate whether I was missing something. What followed was an ongoing journey of study, research, and learning that continues to this day.

That journey opened my eyes to perspectives that focus on Scripture itself, rather than religious systems or traditions—whether Christian or Jewish—and to the importance of reading the Bible as one unified message. I’ll be sharing more about that throughout this site.

Along the way, I’ve also spent years researching and learning from experts in many other fields. I don’t consider myself an expert in finance, nutrition, technology, or most of the topics you’ll find here. What I do consider myself is a student—someone who collects, studies, and filters ideas that I believe are valuable for humanity.

Because of that, much of what I share here comes from others. You’ll often see content created by people who are far more knowledgeable than I am in their respective fields. I may add my own perspective on why I think their ideas are worth considering, how they might apply to real life, and why they deserve attention. I’ll also point you directly to the original content so you can explore it yourself and decide what resonates with you.

This isn’t new for me. For several years, I wrote for a local newspaper, covering many of these same themes—faith, personal growth, finances, health, and ideas that challenge the way we think and live.

So what will you find here? A mix of biblical studies, personal finance, investing, getting out of debt, health, inspiration, and even controversial or unconventional topics. Everything is approached through the same lens: evidence over assumptions, substance over noise.

If you like exploring ideas, learning from others, and thinking deeply about life, I invite you to stick around and explore the site. And if you find value here, you can visit the support page to access exclusive content and help support my work.

I’m glad you’re here. Welcome to the journey.

God bless.
